Effective date: [Effective date]
These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern your use of the online appointment-scheduling service (the "Service") operated by [Company legal name], registration number [Registration number], registered address [Registered address] ("we", "us").
By creating a business account, or by ticking the box that says you agree to these Terms, you confirm that you have read and accepted them. If you do not agree, please do not register or use the Service.
The Service lets a business ("you", the "Business") publish a booking page, manage its services, staff, working hours and bookings, and lets the Business's own customers book appointments online without installing an app.
Each Business has its own separate space on the Service. We design the Service so that one Business cannot see or change another Business's data.
You must provide accurate information when you register, and keep it up to date. You confirm that you are authorised to enter into these Terms on behalf of the Business.
You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for everything that happens under your account. Tell us promptly at [Contact email] if you suspect that someone else has gained access.
The name and web address you choose at registration identify your Business on the Service. You can change the name later in the dashboard settings. The web address cannot be changed through the dashboard; contact us if a change is needed. You may not choose a name or address that is misleading, that imitates another business or our own Service, or that infringes anyone's rights.
The Service is offered in plans. The plan available at registration is the Free plan, which allows up to 100 bookings per calendar month. Once that number is reached, new bookings are not accepted until the next calendar month begins.
Other plans may be introduced in the future. The Service does not currently take any payment from you, and nothing in these Terms obliges you to pay. If we introduce paid plans, we will tell you before any charge applies, and you will be free to decline.
Your customers give you their details (such as name, phone number and email address) when they book. As between you and us, you are responsible for the lawful use of that information, and for telling your customers how you use it.
We process that information on your behalf only to provide the Service to you, including sending booking notifications that you have switched on. We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect it. Further information about how personal data is handled is given in [Privacy policy reference].
You agree not to use the Service for anything unlawful, to send unsolicited or misleading messages, to attempt to access another Business's data or any part of the Service you are not entitled to, to interfere with the Service's operation or security, or to create accounts by automated means.
You are responsible for the services you offer and for honouring the bookings your customers make with you.
We own, or are licensed to use, the Service and its software and design. These Terms give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service for your Business while your account is active.
You keep all rights to the content you put into the Service (such as your business name, service descriptions and customer records). You give us permission to store, display and process that content only as needed to provide the Service.
We work to keep the Service available, but we do not promise that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change, add or remove features, and we may carry out maintenance, from time to time.
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or end an account that breaches these Terms, that puts the Service or other users at risk, or where we are required to by law. Where reasonably possible we will tell you why.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the Service is provided "as is", and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for loss of profit or business, or for problems caused by events outside our reasonable control.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law.
We may update these Terms. If a change is significant we will give notice through the Service or by email before it takes effect. If you keep using the Service after the change takes effect, you accept the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by [Governing law and jurisdiction].
